how do I access voicemail on AT&T model 952

If you're talking phone company voicemail, which I assume you are since the phone you're asking about has no answering machine, you dial into the service. It has nothing to do with the phone you're using.  Select the service you have here than follow the instructions for the voicemail for that service.
