Getting "BAD REQUEST" whenever I try to download Voicemail from ATT Server

A little more than 2 weeks ago I was able to download all my Voicemail messages to my hard drive. Now every time I try to download Voicemail messages I get a "BAD REQUEST" answer from ATT Server.

At first I used to get the error Pop-Up messaga that "ATT IS HAVING TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES. TRY AGAIN LATER" whenever I tried to download the Voicemail messages to my computer.

ATT sent out 3 Service Technicians and all 3 says the line is good and the problem is with ATT. I talked with ATT Tech Support and that person said, after about 1-2 hours talking on the telephone plus talking to the ATT Service Tech, that my computer is not compatible witth ATT and nothing they can do.

The Tech Support wanted me to install a obsolete non-Windows 10 compatible Apple Quicktime app that hasn't be updated since 2016. But I installed it with the same results as before. It would launch. So I uninstalled Quicktime again.

Yet my computer was compatible a little more than 2 weeks ago where I had been able to download my Voicemail messages to my PC since I first got ATT U-verse Home phone service.

By the way, I have a hearing disability which prevents me from HEARING or UNDERSTANDING voice messages on the telephone thus the reason for me to download the Voice messages. I can use my Headphones to listen to the downloaded Voice messages from ATT.

without any problems.

Has  anyone else have issues downloading Voicemail to their computers?

@ATTHelp  This is the first time that ATT has mentioned that they are having Voicemail issues.

Why hasn't this information been past down to ATT Customer Support team?

When I called ATT Support instead of giving me a whole bunch of useless troubleshooting procedures concerning my voicemail messages and telling me my computer wasn't compatible all they needed to say was ATT is having Voicemail problems at this time and is being looked into.

Is this why I can't download my voicemail messages and if so, is there a approximate time when this issue will be resolved?

Thank you for that update.

At least the Cellphone App is a good work around.

I am experiencing the same error as others.  Trying to Play/Listen To or Save voicemail results in "Bad Request".

Here are screenshots of error, in case anyone wants to see:

Can no longer Play/Listen To or Save Voicemails from "Check or Manage Voicemail". Results in Error Message: "Bad Request"

CONFIRMED!  Me too.  Started 2 weeks ago.  Doesn't matter what browser, nor computer.  I don't have a cell phone, I have 2 options, listen online or use my land line.  Prefer use online.  This is an obvious ATT problem, now, can we have it fixed?  It's been 2 weeks, what's taking so long?  Agreement problem with the voicemail provider since it isn't actually you (yes, I can see the log out...login functions on my PC - if it was you, there would be no reason to log out and into something else)?

Update after ATT repaired my defective Telephone line.

ATT finally sent a Service tech who came to my home and found out the line was shorted between my home and the Telephone Crossbox.

After the repairs my telephone line connection has been solid so far but it didn't fix the VM message "Bad Request" issue.

So it definitely is a ATT Server issue.

Hopefully when ATT fixes the VM message issue they will also update or replace the software (Apple Quicktime) they use to listen to VM Messages Online from a Customer's ATT Online Account.

The error recurs regardless of computer or browser used.  I have recently tried accessing my AT&T voicemail messages online from several different computers and browsers, and they all result in the same "Bad Request" error message.  Please see screenshots:

Let's see if we can get the voicemail app to work, @Carol2.

Have you tried rebooting your gateway?

This will help refresh your network and may resolve the bad request error that you are receiving.

Let us know if this helps.
