Caller ID Display

I have heard from a few people who I have called using my land line phone to their cell phone that my caller ID displayed is not me but someone else completely.  How do I track down how to fix this?  We've had our land line phone for 8 years.

If it's not everyone you call than it's the information that the person who's receiving it is wrong from their carrier.  They are the ones that will have to fix it.  Bottom line is you have to pin it down to what's common.

So if one of the carriers is verizon, I need to contact verizon to ask them to update their records?

You need to see what the common factor is and the person who's having the problem needs to contact their carrier.  Unless it's everyone you call than it would be your carrier who's database is wrong.
