answering service with voip home phone

I have recently converted my old landline service to VOIP on fiber optic cable.  I cannot get the answering service to work. I have tried to get it working via Myatt on the web but the convoluted web site directions haven't helped much. I have tried ATT tech support 3 times but the Manila tech service people can't seem to understand what the problem is. (My last stint with a tech trying to walk me through it lasted for an an hour until she finally gave up and sent me a text sending me to the web site) Most of them sound as if they are reading the manual while we speak. I get the impression that my issue may be related to a password issue. I have been using the password that I used on the old copper landline service. When I try to change the password I end up in a loop that never gets me anywhere.

Thanks Spoom2. I tried the link but after many more tries ATT discovered that they hadn't transitioned my old copper line to VOIP properly so I have to wait till Sept 29th for them to fix it. Not a happy camper here.
