950 display stopped working
Old 950 cordless phone's speaker was working fine. One day it suddenly stopped working. I change the batteries, cleaned it all, to no avail.
I have nothing displayed, not I can get it to display anything.
Any suggestions?
Is this because the phone is old?

Sounds like it went south, they aren't worth repairing.

probably. Thanks! I use it as a secondary phone, attached to my VOIP. Its still useful, but have to hold the handset.

now speaker works!!, after rechecking how the batteries were setup.

when I changed them( because it stopped working) it seems i did it wrong
I also did an extensive alcohol cleanup. Maybe some other features will wake up. But this one was main. Thx!
