Removing old equipment and cable attached to house
Hello. We've lived in our house 10 years and have never been an AT&T customer, however the previous owners apparently were as we have an old SBC box and what I assume is a DSL-related box (Arris) attached to the back of our house, as well as a line running from the house to an AT&T junction on a power/telephone pole. We're replacing our siding and need the boxes and line removed. Is this something AT&T would actually do? Is there a specific department I should contact? Thanks for any info.

Follow the instructions for downed or obstructed lines they will remove the aerial drop, but may not remove the NID. Your contractors can remove it when they get to it. Your homes wiring most likely terminates in it.
