Removal of Abandoned Phone Lines to House

I've been on hold with AT&T now for 40 minutes, so decided to try to get an answer here, if possible.  For years now we have not had a hard phone line.  However, there are 4 phone lines running from the telephone pole to my house in La Mesa, CA.  They are so old that the insulation has fallen off in parts, exposing bare wire, and the lines are hanging so low that I cannot safely get my travel trailer into the driveway.  I need the lines removed.  How do I go about having this done?  Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

Hello @shiplawyer,

It is my understanding you need to get some phone lines repaired.   I can definitely assist you with this matter.

As this involves company proprietary which is subject to change, I will have to request we move this discussion to a more private arena.  Check you forums inbox which is located in the upper right. There you will find a private message from me.  There you will find the detailed information you will need to get this matter resolved.

Thank you for using the Community Forums and have a splendid weekend.

the link provided is useless. it is about BURIED cables or exposed wires.
that is not what the post was about.
this post is about how to get ATT to remove an OLD ABANDONED ABOVE GROUND
POLE in my front yard.

You must have missed this part and the number is the same for pole issues.

To report drooping wires or AT&T equipment left in a yard or on the street
Call 800.288.2020. This option is available 24 hours a day.

I just got off the phone after a 40 minute hold with ATT Customer service.
They provided the following phone number to get a pole (and related lose
wires) removed as a hazard to the health of neighborhood kids swinging on
the half dozen telephone wires dangling down off the no longer used
telephone pole.
GA Power came out and said it was not their pole but ATT owned the pole,
but nothing is connected to it, just lots of lose old wires kids could hang
themselves on.

On hold to number 1-800-572-4545 for only 22 minutes so far.
