Fallen Southwestern Bell pole in my yard

We have had a SWB telephone pole in our yard since we bought our home. It started leaning a few years back and we contacted ATT about removing it, but nothing ever happened. The pole fell over the weekend and damaged our fence. Fortunately it didn’t hit any of our kids or pets. Now I have a pole on the ground in my backyard. I need a solution to this problem.

Thanks. We have called this number several times and have gotten no help. Were given the prompts by one rep and tried that but got someone who clearly didn’t understand who then transferred me to a dead extension.

Just as our ACEs mentioned you will need to call us at 800.288.2020 to get assistance with the line. Be mindful of this information when you call:

  • Have AT&T service? Provide your account info and say, “Line is down.”
  • Don’t have AT&T service? Say "No account." When asked if you want to order new service, say "No." Then, to let us know why you're calling, say “Line is down.”

Caleb, we have called 5 times. Used the prompts. Keep getting transferred to a number not in service, being told since we don’t have an ATT account that they cannot help us, or being told it is part of a satellite dish and not their responsibility. Beyond frustrated.

On our 7th call, finally got someone who understood. Supposed to have someone out today.

After I finally got someone who understood, I had a technician at my door in about 30 minutes. The technician was very helpful and is setting up removal.
