EL52303 & EL52319 Handsets

Will an AT&T model EL52303 handset work on a model EL52319 base? I have de-reigstered the EL52303 handsets, but when I try to register them to the EL52319 base it says registry failed. Can this be done?

Handset for the EL52303 is the EL50003, but it's not listed as compatible with the EL52319

The handset model is under the battery of the handset, most of the time. You've given two different phone systems. Search for compatibility for the handsets you have.

Thank you spoom2. Lighting had run in and fried my EL52303 base and I replaced it with a EL52319 and was trying to get the handsets for the EL52303 to work on the new base. Looks like from what you said I am out of luck. Thanks again

I have a MODEL # EL52319 that I was having the same problem with. It would tell me that there were 5 new messages, but I couldn't get rid of the notification or delete the messages. I finally found that if you go to the main unit and hit the PLAY button, you can hear and delete your messages from there.

SuzT, other than the model of base, I don't see how your problem relates in any way, shape or form.  It's definitely not the "same problem" at all.
