BL 102-2 Cordless Phone- Ringer will not turn off
Hi,
I have two phones and am unable to turn off the ringer on either phone. When I push the #Quiet button, it prompts me for the number of hours, but after entering a number and touching select/menu, the number of hours just keeps flashing. I have had the phone for about 3 months and this feature has worked fine until today. The problem occurred right after receiving a call, which came from a pay phone. I have tried unplugging the phones from the wall but it still will not work. I don't think it is a defect with the select/menu button because it is happening on both phones. This is for a landline phone.

How about when you go to the ringer options and turn them off? I've never tried it with the #/quiet button. Try resetting the base unit, that's what controls everything.

Hi,
That was the only option I saw in the manual to turn the ringer off, so that's what I've been doing. I will check the manual again and then try resetting the base unit. Thank you
