whyhasmyaccountnotbeenbilled?

I have had att all my life and my recent account since 1996. My bill has never been late more than a few days in all that time. this month my account shows a zero balance. My account billing starts on the 20/21 of each month and runs through the 20th. The bill due date is always between the 9 and 11 of each month. The bills always for the current period except for any extras like pay per ciew and movie rentals. This month I haven't received a billing and when I called the representative stated my account billing was "delayed because of a tax validation issue and you will not be billed a late charge" She said it was held up awaiting approval from a tax jurisdiction.

What does that mean? how long will it be held up and why is this even an issue for me?

There have been multiple reports of late bills across all ATT services. Don’t worry about it, they will bill you eventually and you won’t get any late charges.
