verification number

trying to log into my ATT account and the verification email is being sent to my niece. We upgraded phones today and it needs to be sent to my number.

That says your niece's email is registered for verification notices. To change where that notice goes (phone number or email), then you have to log in first. So you will need to get that info from your niece.
