Those are scam calls. We all get them. There's no way to stop them.
Words of advice:
DO NOT ANSWER CALLS FROM UNKNOWN CALLERS
Don't mess with old people. The older we get, the less "Life in Prison" is a deterrent.

It's almost impossible to stop these robo calls because they are computer generated and spoof their phone numbers each time so you can't filter them out. It affects all carriers, not just AT&T.

you cant sue no one sheesh, robocalls are a big problem that no phone company can completely stop, the do not call list is a big joke, they make robocalls until the heat comes on then they pack up and move and start again with a new location and new numbers, but most ore outside the US where they dont care about the do not call list or any US laws and they are making these calls from computers
@lizdance40 @sandblaster a million dollars
While AT&T employees do look at forum posts from time to time, we are here to represent the forum with our experiences as customers and do not represent AT&T in any official capacity with our responses and do so on our own time unpaid and off the clock. As employees we are not rewarded nor compensated to participate in these forums This forum is comprised of regular customers to communicate with other customers to offer advice and share experiences same as any other user Although there is a small team of customer care specialists that monitor the forums the sheer volume of posts are simply too many posts for these agents to respond to each one of them.

@Constructive Where does the line start for the million dollars? Asking for a friend. ;-)
