Print directory listing without AT&T landline

How can I get a listing in the AT&T printed phone directory if my household gives up our AT&T home land line phone service? I am not a business, but I would like people to continue to be able to find me in the printed phone directory, so I would like to pay for this service.

Who do you have for your phone now? Contact them and request for your phone number to be published. ATT won't be able to help you.

Our current landline phone provider is ATT.  ATT home phone customers' numbers -- and no other company's customers' numbers (as far as I know) -- are still routinely published in a print phone directory for the local area. I'd like to continue paying for a listing in that directory. Are you saying that any other company we deal with for phone service should be able to place listings in the directory that ATT issues?
