obtaining PIN for porting ATT internet phone to new internet phone service (e.g. Ooma)
i have read Q&A's for obtaining a pin to port ATT wireless mobile phone number to another mobile phone service (e.g. Verizon). How do you obtain the PIN for porting a former ATT land line number now an ATT Internet phone number to a new Internet Phone service (e.g. Ooma). thanks.

If by Internet phone you mean AT&T phone, digital phone service than I'd say you most likely have to contact customer service to get the PIN, but I'm not positive. What has Ooma told you they need and have they told you the number is portable?

Good point on checking ooma requirements. I dug some and it looks like you have to fill out an access approval form and then wait a couple weeks as they sort it out with ATT... Guess I will see. Thanks for quick reply
