800-288-2020 at the voice prompt say what you need.

@spoom2 When you call 800-288-2020, no matter what prompt you select, you always get directed to someone who cannot help you and then has to transfer you to the "Landline Department". Why does this matter? You may wait on hold with 800-288-2020 for a long time (up to an hour) only to spend 10 minutes explaining your issue to the representative at which point they will then transfer you to the "Landline Department" where you will then have to wait on hold again for a very long time and 100% re-explain your issue.

@ZBrink The only thing I can tell you is other users have said saying landline at the voice prompt gets you to the correct group. Some have said saying POTS will get you there also. I'm not defending AT&T's inadequate customer service policies or it's ever failing websites that are supposed to help people not hinder them. If they had decent websites that would relieve many of those phone calls to reps.
This is a year old topic and things change, so closing to further posting.
