House burned down in November, canceled the line. Getting a 200$ bill every month. They will not ca

Very upset by this. My house burned down November 13th. I only had a land line. I called to cancel the number within a week. Was told it was canceled. Got a 200$ bill. Sent payment along with a letter that explained the phone was suppose to be canceled due to fire. Hoped for a refund. Next month got another bill of $157.48. Called at&t again. Treated HORRIBLY. Was told they could do nothing until I paid my 157$ bill. I asked to speak to manager. Would not let me. I sent payment AGAIN with another letter explaining the house had burned and this phone line should be canceled. I tried to call support a week later. Was on hold for an hour and twenty minutes. Hung up. Tried calling the following day. Got someone to take my info, transfered. Again and again. Each time I explain. Transfered. On hold for over an hour again. Today I get a bill. $94.63 due by Feb 14th. I call again...transferred... Again and again.

No one lets me cancel the number. I am treated rudely every time I ever get to talk to a human. I'm billed hundreds of dollars on top of this is the worst time in my entire life from losing my home, belogings, pictures, memories and my pets.

Someone contact me by private message, direct message to get my account number and fix this. I am very upset.

Been following steps to make an online account to speak with live chat. It says they will call my phone number with confirmation number. THERE IS NO PHONE! The house is gone! Let me speak to a human.
