Home phone number transfer to Spectrum

My parents recently switched to Spectrum and wanted to transfer their phone number they've had for over 30 years. They were told by Spectrum to fill out a third party form that should switch the number in a few days. They've called 3 times in the last week and they've all asked them to fill out that same form. Today a manager told them they couldn't do anything and they had to wait a month. My dad's retired from AT&T and nobody can help them resolve the issue. Very disappointing, yet I still have hope something can still be done. Any help?

The porting of the number is controlled by the company being ported to.  They should run with this not be pushing it off on you.  Hopefully you still have control of the number as in you didn't cancel your service with AT&T, if you did cancel than the number can't be ported.

I was still able to fight for landline my family had for over 61 years after ending service with at&t and switching to spectrum. It was difficult and yes it was stressful but it can be done.

I was able to fight for my family's landline back after cancelling with at&t and moving to spectrum. It was hard, it was stressful but it got done... Now I'm back to square one fighting for it back since my landline was disconnected 3 months...
