fix your billing records

how do i get at&t to fix their billing screw up. i paid a bill and i have the payment confirmation. i still have been unable to get anyone from at&t to fix the messed up billing record. i am paying a stupid amount on DSL when i could be paying less for a better service but i am unable to change services because of at&t's false charge on an old account.

I have spent several days trying to get this fixed. 2 1/2 hours of my life
wasted on the phone just to be told that I need to email billing so the can
investigate this bill to verify it was paid. Just more time for attending
to price gouge me and charge me an insane amount for DSL that barely works.
