Does AT&T have a text messaging web site like Verizon's Vtext.com?

I'll type a text message on a dinky little smartphone screen if my life depends on it, but otherwise, I still rather use a laptop. On Verizon, they have vtext.com where Verizon cell users can log in and type text messages from a computer. Now that I'm an AT&T customer, is there an AT&T equivalent to vtext.com?

Hello @mrdelurk!

Being able to text from a computer is such a fantastic option! I would love to help find the answer to your question!

We do have an awesome site you can use when you don’t have your device nearby! AT&T Messages Backup & Sync is just the page you are looking for. Once your device is registered, you can easily send and receive texts on any computer or tablet with internet access.

Thanks for joining the Community Forums, hope this information helps and you are able to connect your text messages via computer!

Tried to get messages.att.net to work for the past 2 weeks... it's useless.

It would require setting a password more complex than I can remember. Thanks for trying, though

Hello @mrdelurk,

I am sorry our messages website is giving you problems. This definitely isn’t the kind of experience I wanted you to have when I recommended the feature to you. May I know what kind of issues you are encountering when trying to set up the feature?

I look forward to hearing from you!
