Discontinue Service for a short-term

Due to being laid off for the summer, I would like to know if there is a process whereby customers can request that their services are temporarily discontinued until they are employed full-time.  At this time, I can't pay the full amount as I have not worked full-time since May of this year.

I'm currently only able to pay half of the bill and will try to pay the rest of the amount as soon as possible.  In the meantime, I would like to request that the phone be temporarily disconnected until I can pay the rest of the money and I return to work full-time.
