Credit Card Refund

DECEPTIVE!! I received a "CREDIT CARD" for my refund. in small print it said "go on line and get a paper check."

After 3 websites, to activate the card ONLY and 2 phone calls I FINALLY got a person to cancel the card. If I wanted my info given to a credit card company I WILL DO IT>

AT &T you are above this. This is how fraud and identity theft happens. It also said I had NO choice to not have my info shared because I was with AT&T

PLEASE  DO NOT DO THIS AGAIN!!

I HAVE NO CHOICE FOR CELL PHONE SERVICE IN MY RURAL AREA. YAWL HAVE BEEN GOOD AND REALIABLE IN THE PAST

PLEASE  DO NOT DO THIS AGAIN!!

If you receive a prepaid debit card, you can obtain the amount as a mailed paper check by calling the number on the back of the prepaid card. Do not call ATT. Select the option for lost/stolen cards to connect to a phone rep. Request a paper check. They will verify your address and issue the check in 7-10 business days.

First off....it's NOT a credit card.  A credit card extends credit that you have to pay back.  It's not a credit card.  It's a DEBIT card as there is money on the card to be used at your discretion.  It's like a gift card you can buy at the store.  There are MC gift cards and AmEx gift cards that can be used anywhere.

When you called to get a paper check, did they ask for your SS number?  That would indicate identity theft.

FYI It stated PLAIN as day it was a Credit card  if you signed it and "charged on it it was a credit card with a $3.00 monthly fee If however you read the fine print, it COULD be used as a Debit card but you still had to activate it and register it.

DECEPTIVE period.
