ATT&T WEBSITE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THE WORST!!!
ABSOLUTELY THE WORST, MOST INEFFICIENT, CONFUSING BUSINESS WEBSITE EVER EXPERIENCED. I have attempted to register my landline phone account for the past two DAYS, hours and hours and hours spent on it, with no luck. I get a "temporary passcode," and it never works, just gives me a stupid error code and I have to start over. I tried it by automated phone, online and tried to reach an actual human who might help but -- hey! ATT doesn't use humans for customer service. Wait. I take that back. Sometimes they use overseas call centers who barely speak or understand English and are also absolutely useless because all they can do is read from a script and give fake cheery phrases like, "Oh, yes. I hope I may help you with excellent customer service today." over and over again. For this I am paying almost $100 a month? For a few stupid phone calls i can make on my cell phone? Ugh. I give up.
I hate ATT and plan to cancel my home landline service ASAP. Also, now that they own Direct TV I am not optimistic about keeping that service either and will cancel the moment my contract is up!
