AT&T Wrong Service Address On Account Website
I have called different ATT support phone lines and been in contact with at least 12 representatives but AT&T fails to correct my Service Address on the webisite and directory. I changed from DSL to Uverse November 2, with a new phone number change. My old account was fine with correct service address. My new Internet, Land Line, DirecTV has the right house number "3708" but the wrong street 12 "Place" instead of 12 "Court".. that addresss is a different house at a differnt location about one block from where I have been residening for the past 11 years. They say they will have it corrected within 24 hours on the phone to support but it never gets corrected, ever. I was told I was in the directory at "Place" but that would be a error at ATT. How do I get this corrected if phone support can't help me? My account billing has been messed up ever since I made the switch to Uverse. How do I get their attention?

Nothing has been done to correct this issue, I called again yesterday Tuesday January 17... you have the wrong service address on my account, I cannot change that myself it was a error made by ATT when I had my old phone number changed November 2. My Directv service was to be bundled, paperless, they send me overdue bills USPS. Directv had the wrong phone number, my old nuber was 954 581 3134, that is no longer in service but it was with the correct service address "SW 12 Court" not "SW 12 Place". I feel the need to contact a attorney after 15 failed attempts to correct this ATT error. Do correct this issue today please, thank you in advance. I have been at this address since August 2005 with ATT service. Never lived on "SW 12 Place" that is a house a block away from me.

Was this ever corrected? If so, how did you go about it? Because In the last 5 days i have been in contact with 12 different reps and had two techs out to my house trying to get internet. Direct tv was installed just fine, but they keep saying that the address is different than the correct address on the ticket number. No one is smart enough to fix this issue!

It was eventually corrected and made clean after about a year of working on it- but now I receive the current DirecTV customer USPS billing is sent to "Court" rather than the owners at "Place"- different name - but to my address- please investigate and correct this.

We, my wife and I, have been through a living nightmare to get a change of service address, so they will bury the cable in our backyard, lying on the ground for the past 8 (EIGHT) MONTHS!! We got U-Verse last year, and the cable still lies above-ground, awaiting the lawnmower AGAIN. If it's cut again, bye-bye at&t.! #Promise
You will lose a valued customer of over 30 years. We have all of our services with you currently, but if you cannot change a simple, service address, then we have a problem, bigly. You sure know where to send the bill, same place, same time, each time I've called, waited an hour, whilst being transferred inter-departmentally, with NOTHING RESOLVED. I am lied to and told it's fixed, changed; yet the service order yesterday has an address at which we haven't lived for 10 years!
Hmmm...what to do next, now that the new, buried cable requisition has been entered with the WRONG ADDRESS AGAIN???
--breathless customer, having had all the air sucked out of life from this ordeal, 8 months and counting...

I tried for 4 hours today to correct my service code to match my billing code which is the correct one. I was transferred to different agents and finally to a supervisor in the retention center in Las Vegas named Lisa. She told me that the zip code could. not be changed to the correct one because the ATT system for service address does not allow it even though it is the wrong one per my post office. My billing zip code is correct. Not being able to change it means I cannot be in the ATT rewards platinum level because my zip code in my wireless account ( unlimited since 2009) and my Uverse service ( unverse 450 since 2012) address zip code do not match, and ATT internal data system “cannot be changed” per supervisor! Thinking of dropping ATT.

Same issue. Spoken with at least 8 people over 3 days to get the service address fixed on my account because my internet service needs fixed ASAP and they can't schedule a tech for the wrong address. At&t customer service makes me want to cancel completely after 14 years of service. It's ridiculous that my internet was ever even registered to the wrong address to begin with.
