Why is my Inbox constantly re-syncing?

Using MS Outlook for Mac v16.73, legacy version not the "New Outlook for Mac", (Office 365 Family Subscription). Inbox mail keeps re-syncing every few minutes. Mail item just disappear which will start a sync and then reappear in a minute or two. This happens repeatedly in a session.

I have now found the answer to my question.  After working with Tier 2 Microsoft Support I have learned that this is a known issue with the legacy version of Microsoft Outlook for Mac (Office 365).  It does not occur in the "New Outlook for Mac" version.  Microsoft developers are working on a fix for the problem and will release it in a near-future update.  Thanks again for your help.

Hello @GAM_OKC, we understand the importance of having your email working properly and are happy to assist.

Since you are able to send and receive emails we would suggest trying some basic troubleshooting tips, and scroll down to webmail and features troubleshooting.

1. Clear Cache and Cookies - The most common fix

2. Update Your Browser - many features are only compatible with the latest browser and we recommend updating it

3. Test signing in to your webmail using another browser

4. Disable browser tools or add-ons - varies by device and browser

5. Disable your firewall - varies by device and browser

6. Make sure Java is up-to-date - https://www.java.com/en/download/

6. Secure Mail Key - Solutions for multiple email addresses
7. Mail Deliverable Error? - Reset your password and try other steps

Please let us know how this works for you.
