People say some of the emails I send are gibberish.   Oh wait, that's not what you mean, huh.  😁

Are you by any chance using Windows Mail?  If so, there are a couple of known issues with it and Yahoo (or AOL) users.  Microsoft pushed out an update early last month and that seems to coincide with the problems.

If you aren't using Windows Mail, please tell us how you access your email and maybe you could also show us a screen capture of one as an example.

Using Outlook, yes Windows.  I tried updating my Windows 10 to no avail.

I'm not aware of any issues like that affecting Outlook, just Windows Mail.

As I mentioned previously, can you do a screen capture of one so we can see exactly what you see?

Let's see what we can do to get your emails to load properly, ccbcwb.

In addition to sending a screenshot as tonydi suggested, use our Login and Email Solutions article to troubleshoot Outlook email.

Follow these steps from the section titled 3rd Party Mailbox - (Outlook, Apple Mail, Mozilla Thunderbird):

  • Test using webmail. If you are able to sign in to your email via the web, the issue points to the app or mailbox you are using.

  • Use the latest version of your mailbox. Updates and changes may prevent it from working properly.

  • Rebuild your mailbox profile. In some instances, rebuilding the profile fixes some issues. You may lose email doing this

  • Change your settings from POP to IMAP.

Please keep in mind that AT&T does not officially support or troubleshoot mailboxes/clients like Outlook, so reaching out to Microsoft to see what can be done on their end is a good idea.

We'll be awaiting your response.
