Not Found On Accelerator

My original email with Bellsouth.net suddenly stopped working through Currently.com (Yahoo) or with my email clients on my cell phone or android tablet.  When I tried to login all I would get back was the following message:

"Not Found on Accelerator.  Description:  Your request on the specified host was not found. Check the location and try again."

It was working fine with Outlook2010 until a few days ago when I called the ATT service desk and a technician named Zack "tried something".  Now I have absolutely no access to the email.

I have cleared all cache, rebooted, tried other browsers (chrome and safari) but to no avail.  My Bing search has brought me to this forum.

Can anyone please help me?

Thanks for reaching out, you've come to the right place. We'd be happy to assist you with gaining access to your emails @clarkballen!

Is there a specific error code you're receiving? We ask this because this may help us better understand why you're not able to access your email account.

In order for us to continue helping you, we will need to speak in a private chat via the direct message inbox located in the top right corner of the screen. We'll be messaging you shortly.

I have the same "not found on Accelerator" issue for the last month or two. I have tried all the suggestions and nothing works. Yesterday I spent 2 hours and was transferred to 7 different people to try to resolve!  The last guy basically said they know they have an issue - something to do with enhanced security to keep hackers out, but now customers are also locked out - and they are working to resolve it, so keep checking back and try to log in every week!

Was the ATTHelp reply shown in this thread able to help you?  Can anyone resolve this?  Looks like a lot of ppl have this problem based on all the forum posts.

ATT couldn’t solve the problem so we declared the email account dead and opened a new different email account.  It has been tedious updating all our contacts with the new email since the old one was 25+ years old.  I was not pleased with the outcome.

Thanks for the response.  That's what we've decided as well, and we are not happy about it either!
