unable to add my icloud.com mailbox

Add it to what? Contact Apple. ATT has nothing to do with your iCloud.com email address.
in the yahoo/att mail app it talks about adding mailboxes. i cannot add my icloud mailbox. get following message:
Problem adding your account. Cannot setup your account. Please try again later.

We'd recommend clearing the cache and cookies from the device you're using. This can help clear any data that could be interrfering with adding another mailbox. Also, please try adding the mailbox using a different device so we can confirm that the problem isn't with the device.
