How to use Webmail 7.0
I want to be able to access my email with my browser without having to use currently or yahoo. I am not sure how Webmail 7.0 works and what I need to do to sign up. Right now I use Thunderbird but would like to move away from that. How?

Hi there, @sharexyz666. We understand that you are unable to access your webmail. We can help you with that.
First before we begin, let's answer that question about you accessing your email without currently.com or yahoo.com. The answer is no. The reason why is that its webmail, and that is used on a browser. Currently or Yahoo.com is the partner site, which hosts the graphical (what you see on the web) look of the webmail.
The other answer to your question is Webmail 7.0 is an AT&T Business hosted website. If you get an AT&T Business account and have your own custom domain email, then we can host for you.
Lastly, let's get you back into your webmail. Now, this will not affect the Secure Mail Key that you are using with Thunderbird. We will use Thunderbird to our advantage in this procedure. What the next step is, to do a password reset. Thunderbird will come in handy during password reset, so keep it open. Here are the steps, but they are going to be tailored to fit your needs:

Hey there @sharexyz666. We'd be happy to help you with accessing your email accoutn through your browser.
We'd suggest using an OAuth or a secure mail key for an email app. This will allow you to sign into your email account without having to use your email username and password. You will also be able to see different apps you can use to check your email service on your laptop that uses OAuth or a secure mail key.
Please let us know if you have any further questions.

I already use a secure key with Thunderbird and it works fine.
What I want is to use a web browser like Edge / Brave / Firefox to be able to access my ATT email. I do not want to use anything Yahoo related. Just like you can use email on a browser with Gmail I would like to do the same thing with ATT mail. I ran into Webmail 7 but I could not signon using my ATTemail and secure mail key. What credentials do I need and how do I obtain them? Thanks.

Thank you for that information, @sharexyz666!
When using AT&T Webmail, you can try using the regular password as opposed to your secure mail key.
Let us know if this helps!

I tried using the password associated with my account instead of the secure email password. No luck.

OK. And thank you. That explains it. Webmail is not available to individual consumers. I was unaware that the only way to access my ATT email via a browser is to use Yahoo. That is a shame. I really don't want to have to be bombarded with advertisements just to read an email. And Yahoo was hacked years ago and we're still suffering from that mess - so never again. I'll stick with Thunderbird or switch all my accounts to a web based email service such as Apple or Gmail. Thanks again.
