How to create a Secure Mail Key for subaccounts?
I have several subaccounts that I have used for years. I recently bought a new computer and am trying to get email working with Microsoft Outlook. I was able to create a secure Mail Key for the primary account and that email is sending and receiving fine. However, I cannot find anywhere in my profile or any other place where it will allow me to set a Secure Mail Key for the subaccounts. This will be required in order for me to get this working with Outlook. Has anyone had any luck with this? I can see my email subaccounts, but there is no option to set the key. Also, the subaccounts do not appear under the "manage secure mail keys" section, so there is no opportunity to select a subaccount and set it there. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Good Morning @shiggins_help,
We know how frustrating it can be when you are trying to set up the secure key for your email app and we can help.
The article on att.com says there should be a drop-down at the top of your profile to choose the email you want to make the secure mail key for.
Otherwise, we would suggest signing in to att.com with the subaccount and go to the profile to set up the secure mail key.
Let us know.
Thank you,

Thanks much for the response, Caleb. I had found that page of instructions. The problem is with Step 2:
> 2. Select the email account that needs a secure mail key. (You’ll find a menu at the top if you have multiple accounts.)
There is no such menu on the main account Profile page.
I just called AT&T support and they helped me solve the problem! :-)
The key is to *log into the subaccount at att.com* and go to the Profile page on the subaccount that you want to set up with Outlook. Scroll down to the bottom to the block that is titled "Email Account". It will show the subaccount email address on the right. There will be a link under that that says "Manage secure mail key". That's where it is! From there the rest of the instructions worked as stated.
Do NOT log into the subaccount at *att.net* (which is what I had tried earlier). Do NOT log into the main account at either *att.net* nor *att.com*. That was the key.
Hope this helps others. My phone call took 1 hour and 16 minutes to get it resolved.
