Comcast to ATT mail on IPhone and iPad not working

My email for Comcast isn’t working to send or receive…. What are my settings?  The installer didn’t tell me I had to change anything   Gmail and yahoo work fine.

We recommend that you follow the steps below:


(1) Check if your email account is configured as POP or IMAP. If it is set up as POP, you may want to switch to IMAP. 


(2) Ensure that you have entered the correct server settings for your Comcast email account.

I believe what you are having an issue with is gaining access to the Comcast mail servers while you are connected to the AT&T network.  If this is not the case, please clarify.  Assuming the above...

When you are on the Comcast network, you don't normally have to authenticate to send e-mail.  I would think you should still have to set it up your e-mail and password to receive e-mail, but maybe it just defaults based on your connection as well.  In any case, Comcast doesn't know who you are coming from the AT&T network, so you'll have to provide proper authentication information.  Check with Comcast for proper values for connecting to the comcast mail servers when not on the Comcast network.
