I can sent bellsouth.net email but can't receive anything.
Does anyone actually read these posts?
We'd be glad to help you start receiving Bellsouth emails again, BigMac70.
So that we can look into this for you, please let us know what message the senders are getting when they try to email you. Also, we have some troubleshooting options you can try to get the emails to come through.
We look forward to hearing back from you!

Senders receive no messages. As far as they know, their email was delivered & I ignored it.
Already tried your solutions. Found them in other automated responces. None worked.
Thank you for letting us know about this, BigMac70.
Please let us know if you are able to login to our Currently website, and if you are able to see your e-mails there. If you are getting any type of error when logging in, be sure to let us know what you are seeing.
Currently is directly supported by AT&T, so we always suggest using it, at the very least so that we can narrow down any issues outside of our network.
We hope to hear back from you!

No new emails on Currently, The emails I sent to myself didn't go thru either ... but they are in the sent folder.
Thanks for clarifying, BigMac70.
What type of device and browser are you using to access your email? You may need to set up OAuth, or Open Authentication, or create a Secure Mail Key.
OAuth is used to access AT&T email, and encrypts your username and password to protect your info from hackers and fraudsters.
Here are the devices & operating system (OS) Apps and programs that use OAuth:
If your email program or app doesn't use OAuth technology, then you can use the Secure Mail Key to:
We also recommend using the most updated version of our supported browsers to ensure you're receiving your emails.
Please keep us updated!

My desktop, cell phone & Kindle have all used bellsouth.net for years without any issues ... until last week. Now I can send but I can't receive any emails.
Why would I suddenly need OAuth? Are you sure that will fix the issue?
Thank you for letting us know, BigMac70.
Due to what specifically is occurring for you, we'd like to invite you to a Direct Message to see where your e-mails are turning up.
As for OAuth, we recommend using it for any third party e-mail clients you use, as it will ensure everything on the network stays synced. It may have worked fine before, but using OAuth ensures it stays fine in the future.
Keep an eye out for a notification at the top right-hand corner of the forums, next to the bell icon, for our Direct Message.
Don't know what you did but I'm suddenly receiving email on my bellsouth.net account. Thanks, Donovan!

Not sure how ATTHelp Donovan could do anything to fix this since he has no idea who you are or your email address.
But just like with more other Yahoo/AT&T email issues, they mysteriously pop up when someone at Yahoo trips over a power cord and then sometime down the road mysteriously disappear when another "engineer" discovers the cord problem. 😁
Since you weren't the only one with this issue with bellsouth accounts, it'll be interesting to see how many others start working again today.
How can we improve?
