Can you recover a sub-account?

I deleted my old email address and I think my wife's account was a sub-account to that address, her email is not working now. Is there a way to recover her account as a sub to my current email address?

We're here to help clear things up, bblack1199!

When you delete a primary email account, this will also delete any subaccounts created with that account. We have no way to restore the email account that was deleted.

Since we're unable to restore deleted emails, the best course of action we can recommend is to create a new email. Below are the steps you can take to create the new email account:

  1. Go to currently.com and select Sign In.
  2. Choose Create AT&T Account.
  3. Enter your wireless number and ZIP Code. We'll text you a confirmation code.
  4. Enter the code and select Continue.
  5. Complete the info to create your new AT&T email address and password.
  6. Enter your profile info and security questions and answers.
  7. Follow the prompts to verify your account.
  8. Print or copy your email address, password, and security questions info, in case you forget your password.
  9. Select Continue when you see the confirmation page.

Please feel free to reach back out if you need help in the future. Thank you for contacting the AT&T Community Forums!
