I need the server setting for the Bellsouth email. I am trying to set a new win11 laptop for a neighbor and we have tried at least 25 server setting and port number and all have not connected and failed by timing out.

Hey @g586595, let's help you set this up.

The email client is the browser or application you're using to access the email. You'll need to ask your neighbor what they're using.

We hope this helps.

@g586595  Outlook is the email client.

Your neighbor needs to obtain a Secure Mail Key and use that every place Outlook requires a password.

It's also possible that the official email servers shown here are not working correctly.  If you have the SMK in place and still can't get through, try using these legacy server names.....

imap.mail.yahoo.com  (or pop.mail.yahoo.com for POP3)

smtp.mail.yahoo.com
