The PC version of Outlook needs a Secure Mail Key. Create one using that link and then insert that into every place Outlook requires a password.
Your "normal" password will still be what you use on most mobile apps and on the web UI.
If you still have connection issues after using the SMK then change your email servers in Outlook to...
imap.mail.yahoo.com
smtp.mail.yahoo.com

It's resolved after contacting MS Outlook support. I thought I had to sign in under my AT&T username account, but what no one said is to sign in with the new @att.net email and username. After that, everything went smooth. RESOLVED.

I can't get past the first 3 steps:
How do you SELECT the email account??? The instructions don't match what I'm seeing on my account page.
My AT&T email is not even showing up. I used a Gmail email when I signed up with AT&T on August 3rd. A week or so later I opened an @att.net email account but don't see how to even add that to MyATT account, and really didn't want to until I make sure it's going to work with Outlook.

When you log into the Profile page, do you not have an Email section at the bottom. It should look like this.....

If you have, or used to have a Directv account, the att website will automatically reroute you to Directv, and you will not be able to generate a secure email key. It’s a little gift for being an Att customer…
