Yahoo mail login loop

Every time I try to login to my yahoo mail, I get stuck in a login loop. I have changed my password and successfully logged into my ATT cellular account, but cannot get past the yahoo mail loop. I never receive any of the "codes" from the yahoo mail server, but do receive them from the ATT site. I have cleared cache adn cookies. Tried on my mobile device, desktop, and laptop.

To make sure that we can provide the support that you are needing, can you please provide any and all messages or care codes that you are getting?

 

The reason why we are asking for those error messages is because each error message provides a clue as to what is happening. 

 

We see that you have done the normal troubleshooting of resetting your password and clearing the cache and cookies already, so we will skip that part.

When I log in directly from both mail screen and ATT landing page, I am told the credentials are incorrect. I successfully navigate through the password reset process, including two step verification process, only to be brought back to a login screen. When I enter my newly reset credentials, the screen will go blank white while the navigation bar flickers between a Login Screen "att-yahoo.net..." web address and a Logout Successful address, then I am brought right back to the initial AT&T Mail and Currently log in screen again. This loop continues repeatedly.

I have the same problem and have posted in other forums without success. I just called the number on the password reset email and there is no option for email help.

I am having the exact same problem with this ridiculous looping! I have my credentials saved and they are never accepted and then it goes to an AT&T sign in box, and I put that credential in. Then I am directed back to the same login box that I started with. What the hell?

Whenever you are experiencing log in loops, the first thing we recommend doing is resetting your password. The reason for this is that is re-syncs your email in our system and can sometimes alleviate the looping.

 

Give it a try with these steps:

  1. Go to reset your password.
  2. Enter your user ID and the last name associated with your ID.
  3. Choose your verification method and follow the prompts.
  4. Enter and confirm your new password.
