Why am I locked out?

I get a message that says:?Unusual sign-in activity ? and it won?t let me reset my password or login.

Reach out to att support number, ask the automated bot for billing. (It is easiest) thereafter explain you need assistance with your myatt login. Once you've asked to have the online password reset it will send you a text containing a temporary code, take that to myatt sign on with your user ID and temp password. From here choose a password.
