Unable to receive emails to my att.net account.

I can send emails, however I can’t receive any emails.

I sent a test email to from another email account. The message I received back was: [Address not found. Your message wasn't delivered because the address couldn't be found, or is unable to receive mail.]

I also tried sending myself and email from within  my att.net email, but nothing never comes to my inbox.

I’ve chatted online and on the phone with many Agents and it seems no one is able to really help me fix this issue.

Hi there, MrKW! Let's stop this bounce back from happening.

When it comes to not receiving email, there are a variety of factors coming into play. Before we begin troubleshooting, we need to make a few of the factors have been cleared.

  1. Make sure that the storage of the webmail is cleared. Any old emails that you do not need, delete them. If your email has run out of storage space, then the bounce back will happen.
  2. Make sure that email address is spelt correctly. An incorrectly spelt email address can cause this to happen, as the incorrect email address with not be our database.

You can resolve most common email concerns with our Resolve Email Issues support article.

If we can be anymore help, please let us know.

Thank you for using the AT&T Community Forums.

My inbox is completely empty.

My email address is spelled correctly. Agents have tried to email me and I’ve also sent emails from other accounts, but nothing never comes to the Inbox.

I’ve used the Resolve Email Issues tool but nothing fixed the problem I’m having. I really don’t know what else to do or try.

Thank you for that information, @MrKW!

Can you let us know how you accessing your email? Are you using an email program such as Outlook or Apple Mail? If so, we recommend double checking that your server settings are correct for the program you are using.

You can find out what server settings your program needs by selecting said program from the list provided.

Let us know if this helps!

Hello,

I’ve emailed the Block List Group at the address listed above, however I never received a reply.

I’m still unable to receive emails. Is there any way to fix this issue?

Thanks!
