Unable to login due to 'security issues' on ATT end

I have been on the phone for the last month trying to sort email issues for my old primary email [email scrubbed]. I have had my email reset a few times as I always get an error that the number of login attempts blocks me from future logins although it is the right email.

I was reached out by a manager at ATT and was in the end told that I need to just get a new email due to security issues at ATT.

I am asking if there is any way we can reset my login cache one more time to get into my account again so that I can just set up an email forwarding rule or get important emails off. I have tried calling the previous email support number for the last month and am told I will be called back with no return in the last 2 weeks and from the last 2 times.

Anyone know of any ways to forward all past and future emails from an old iphone that it is still logged into?

Hi there, @longbr394. We understand that you are unable to log into your email. We can help you with that.

You have stated that you are able to check your email on a phone that the email address is still logged into. That normally means that you are using an app that requires a Secure Mail Key. If that is the case, then you are in luck.

You can use the password reset flow, in order to reset the password to your myAT&T profile, which in turn, resets the email address password. To do so, please follow these simple steps:

  1. Go to att.com/myatt.
  2. Select Forgot password?
  3. Fill out the password info.
  4. Choose security questions or temporary password and follow the prompts. If you choose a temporary password, we’ll let you know where we sent it.
  5. Once you have the temp code, then you can come back to page and validate it.
  6. Create your new password.

Please try these steps. If all else fails, you can return here and we can see what other password reset recovery options are present on your myAT&T profile.
