Unable to access sbcglobal.net email and unable to reset password

I am unable to access my sbcglobal.net email account that I've had for 18 years, password has not changed on the account in a very long time, access just stopped working recently...

Step to recreate:


1.) on the "Sign in to access AT&T Mail and Currently.com" screen, select user ID and enter password.


2.) Receive pop-up:  "Having trouble signing in?  We are about to lock your account because of too many unsuccessful attempts.  You can reset your password now, or check you entry and try again."  Click reset password button.

3.). Receive screen:  "Let's reset you password.  Enter your User ID and last name."  Enter user id (email address that I am trying to access) and Last name.  Click Continue button.

4.)  Receive screen with message "Hmm... we can't reset your password.  We don't have the details needed to complete your request."  Click done button.

5.) Referred back to the "Sign in to access AT&T Mail and Currently.com"

How can I complete the password reset?
