Two factor authentification Big problem
HOW DO I TURN OFF THE TWO FACTOR VERIFICATION FOR MY E_MAIL ACCOUNT?
For the last couple of weeks when I try to log in to my e-mail account, I am asked for a code that is sent to my phone. I DON'T ALWAYS HAVE MY PHONE WITH ME WHEN I TRY TO LOG IN TO MY E-MAIL !!!! This happens every time I try to log in even when requesting to be to be left logged in. I have never asked for two factor verification. Today, I had to respond to an urgent message from my boss. My phone was dead so I had to wait until it was sufficiently charged to retrieve the darned code !! So guess what? I was late with my response !
Who was the genius who decided to use his system without asking the customers?

OK I cleared cache and cookies in my edge browser and that did no good. I then downloaded the Firefox browser and that did the job. I now can avoid 2FA. However, I am not interest in bouncing back and forth between two browsers. I strongly believe at&t needs to adjust their security system so that it accommodates the edge browser just as other businesses do. After all, business entities should accommodate their clientele and not the other way around.

I was already using Firefox and cleared the cache & cookies yesterday but nothing changed. Since the 2FA can be bypassed by entering a fake contact number and then clicking on "Take me to my account" when the second screen pops up, why not reverse the steps as follows: "If you want 2FA enter your contact number and click on Submit. Otherwise click on "Take me to my account."

Does AT&T have any intention of improving their security system to accomodate the microsoft edge browser so we don't have to switch to the fox browser whenever we want to see our emails without going through the 2FA routine or are they just going to ignore the problem?
