SPAM Filter Stopped Working in February 2022?!?

Is anyone else experiencing the same thing? It used to work pretty well, but in the last month EVERYTHING is getting trough to my Inbox. It's not even stopping the most obvious Subjects or suspicious Sender email addresses. I still use my "@sbcglobal.net" email address.

Yes, I'm getting the EXACT same thing.  Just within the last couple of weeks.  Very obvious spam email subjects and senders.  It is driving me crazy and I am seriously contemplating switching email providers.  I left feedback a few minutes ago, but I'm not sure who to contact.  Also using a sbcglobal.net address like you.

Thanks. I'm going to try to call AT&T later today. About a month ago I had a problem with my login and actually got a real live human being that helped me!

Be sure to call AT&T, not Yahoo, as they told me to call AT&T.

We are here to help get your email back up to par, RLSmitty.

We are sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you.

Here is more information on how to report and filter spam emails.

There should be a box on the email to mark it as spam, but you can also report any spam emails to our abuse team.

You can also manage your filters to make sure spam emails do not show in your inbox. You can do this by:

  • Select the gear and then More Settings.
  • Choose Filters.
  • Select Add to create a filter.
  • Enter the conditions for your filter and then select Save.

Let us know if this helps.

Marc, the problem is the AT&T/Yahoo filter not working, as the other customer commented above. Something changed about a month ago with Yahoo's automatic filter as even blatantly obvious spam is being allowed to be delivered to our Inboxes.

This is a problem for me too. Any solutions yet? This is very annoying.

Yep, I'm getting tons of spam.  I keep sending them to 'Spam' then blocking all the email addresses and I still get more.  I also have an sbcglobal.net account.

Marc, AT&T specialist, we are getting so many different ones from different or the same fake companies, it is too time consuming to create a filter for each individual one.  What is going on with your 'spam filters' and blocks?

OMG, yes!  It is driving me crazy!  Getting dozens a day and I am getting sick and tired of blocking senders individually!

AT&T - when are you going to address this????!!!

Me too!  Using a sbcglobal.net email.  This morning alone, I have deleted 27 obvious SPAM emails.  It has been happening for more than a month.

ATT - help!
