snet.net account has stopped working

my snet.net account has stopped working on any computer or web browser.   If gives me this error message.

Looks like you’ve tried to sign in unsuccessfully too many times. Recover your ID or reset your password to continue.
CARE CODE: 205.2 [LU003]   It does not recognize my username or pass word
Even more odd, I can get on my account on my cell phone only.  I called up att support and they said they are aware of the problem but have not fixed it yet.  Any suggestions?  I really need to use a computer to see and not the phone.

Let's get you back into your email, @tonytine1!

Based on the description of the error you are receiving, we will need to move this conversation into a DM. Be on the lookout for a chat notification in the upper portion of the page.

We look forward to speaking with you!

I have exactly the same problem with the snet.net account I have been using for decades. My problem started a few weeks ago. My account is working on my iPhone, but not on my PC.

Hi, @tonytine1!

A DM is a Direct Message which is what is needed to proceed, as we have to access your email. Check the upper right hand portion of the page, as we've sent you a DM, the notification will be there.

If for some reason you are unable to locate it, let us know.

Happy to help you access your email on your PC, Svarghese.

Try troubleshooting with the following steps from our Login and Email Solutions article:

  • Clear your cache and cookies - the most common fix

  • Update your browser - many features are only compatible with the latest browser and we recommend updating it

  • Test signing in to your webmail using another browser

  • Disable browser tools or add-ons - this varies by device and browser

  • Disable your firewall - this varies by device and browser

We also recommend resetting your password, as this has helped other email users get around the care codes. Try the Forgot password option.

  1. Go to att.com/myatt.
  2. Select Forgot password?
  3. Fill out the password info.
  4. Choose security questions or temporary password and follow the prompts. If you choose a temporary password, we’ll let you know where we sent it.
  5. Create your new password.

Let us know if this helped, or if you need further assistance.
