Secure email key
I use Yahoo to access my AT&T email account. My email address is through bellsouth.net (yeah, I've had it that long). Every 2 weeks when I go to log back into the email access page, I receive the error code 203 (I think). Two weeks ago, I went through the steps to reset the password, and set up a secure email key, but still have not been requested to provide the secure email key. I am now again locked out of my email account again, but am still able to access it through my AT&T mobile phone. Is there a trick to being able to access the email?? I've been fighting this battle over and over again for several months now. I use a desktop PC running Windows 10 on it. I use the browser to access the Yahoo site which then redirects me to AT&T Currently site. Is there anything I can do to end this miserable business, or will I have to abandon my old email address for a different one? HELP.

The Secure Mail Key is only for email clients like Outlook, Apple Mail, or any that don't support OAuth2.
You will not be able to log into the web interface using the SMK, you must use your regular password.
What you're experiencing with the password resets is a major issue right now (look through the list of posts in this forum) and there's no fix in sight except to keep doing the "Forgot Password" dance.

Hi,
I need some help in creating a secure mail key for my c# mail application. I go to the following page below.
https://www.att.com/support/article/email-support/KM1240308
I scroll down to
Create a secure mail key
and click on the Profile link and it sends me to the DIRECTV sign-in page. I log in and it sends me to the DIRECTV page, which is no help to me. I'm stuck.
Can you help me create a secure mail key?
Thank you,
Mike Schneider

Try a different browser or use a private window/incognito mode and see if that gets you to the right place at att.com.
