sbcglobal.net

Hello,

I still use an sbcglobal.net email address which was assigned to me when AT&T "took over" Yahoo a number of years.  My questions are:

  • Is sbcglobal.net being discontinued?
  • Do I need to move back to Yahoo? If so, can my emails be transferred over>
  • For how long can I continue using sbcglobal.net ?  Can I use it for free if I change internet services?

I look forward to your responses.

I'm trying to 'fix' my 91 year old mothers sbcglobal email account. Somewhere down the line her account must have been hacked. when she sends an email, a 'Reply to' appears and is very similar to her SBC account (ex myemail@sbcglobal, net reply to: [email scrubbed]).  So when you try to respond it must go to this hotmail address. I've spoke with ATT help and get nowhere. I removed this bogus email address from the "reply to" section I came across in her profile and now she can't even send an email. Because of her age I really would like to NOT take the real simple route and have her create a new email address. Can someone provide an option?

@Kjej , no that is a scam.   Delete and forget (unless you clicked and provided information, then you need to worry).

When I try to log into my sbcglobal.net account I immediately get logged out.  I can not figure out what is going on.  Anyone have a thought?

HELP HELP HELP same thing here. I have an sbcglobal.net account. I went through the password retrieval and it created a yahoo account. All my correspondence is on the sbcglobal.net account but when I try to retrieve it, with my original email and last name it says I don't exist. I have had this account for 30 years and the last 3 years have been misery. I think I will quit and go to gmail. Maybe I'll get less spam. When AT&T moved to putting all accounts under one roof it ruined the whole process.

My wife and I are getting a divorce.

One hour ago she mass-deleted everything in our shared inbox. Photos, family contact numbers, archival stuff, all of it.

I have since changed the password.

Is there any way i can recover yesterday's inbox?

I am trying to log in to my sbcglobal.net email without success. The security questions I am responding to are not recognized by the system. It is been a long time since I have not been able to log in to this email and I want to close it. Since I am unable to reset the password, can I obtain a temporary password?

When I click on an email the view instantly changes from the regular view to a view with minimal graphics whre its tougher to navigate forward and backward. The print is larger but its impossible to navigate.  How can I get back to my normal view.
