sbcglobal.net email disappeared
We have had the sbcglobal.net emails for years and suddenly my email has disappeared. When resetting password is suggested, a different user ID is shown - not my email address. When I sign in with new user ID, no email is shown on my account. I did not initiate this change. WHO do I call to fix this?

We have cleared cache and cookies. Browser up to date. Explorer or Chrome will not sign into yahoo.com which is where we have always gotten our emails for both *sbcglobal.net emails. Tried without the firewall as well. We are still able to access the accounts on our smart phones (ios), but cannot access on the PC. Any other ideas?

Thanks for providing that information, @pennyanddon.
To further assist you with your email login, we'll need to speak privately in a direct message (DM).
In the meantime, could you let us know if you're getting any specific error code when attempting to login? Or does your email simply not appear to be linked to your account as it was previously?
You should notice a notification at the top right of your screen shortly indicating a message from us. We look forward to speaking with you shortly!

Similiar experience for me, I was fine yesterday, this morning my browser can not find ATT.MAIL.COM, a DNS issue I think. My pc can not get to login screen but my fire tablet still can access my email. Impossible to get an art customer person on the phone!

That's not a DNS issue. There's no such place as att.mail.com, which would be a subdomain of MAIL.COM.

I have been using a bookmark for years to get to my *.sbcglobal.net ATT email account. When I view the bookmark it reads mail.yahoo.com (not att.mail.com my mistake). When I Select my user I'd it comes back 'this site can not be reached', also says 'dns_probe_finished_nxdomain'. Do you have any ideas?

First off, that hasn't been the correct URL for AT&T email logins for quite some time. It may have worked, and it's still a valid URL, but AT&T prefers everyone use currently.com (which resolved to currently.att.yahoo.com).
There are quite a few reasons why you get that error. First thing I'd do (sorry if this sounds like a lame AT&T "support" suggestion) is to reboot the gateway. If that doesn't resolve the error, just google the dns_probe error and you'll find sites with a whole checklist of things to try.

currently.att.yahoo.com still gives me the same response. Opens up to mail, but when I put in the email address *@sbcglobal.net I get the DNS problem message. I have tried multiple browsers, browsers up to date, rebooted computer, modem, cleared the cache and a host of other items as listed on your search suggestion. Still we are able to receive and send on our smartphones so I know the emails are out there. Just don't understand why we suddenly do not have access on either of our home PCs
