We're here to help you get back into your email, @nunya__!

Since the security questions didn't work, let's have you follow our password reset steps again, but choose temporary password if it's an option.

You can reset your email with these steps:

  1. Go to att.com/myatt.
  2. Select Forgot password?
  3. Fill out the password info.
  4. Choose security questions or temporary password and follow the prompts. If you choose a temporary password, we’ll let you know where we sent it.
  5. Create your new password.

If you are unable to choose temporary password, let us know! We may need to get your into a direct message to investigate further.

The AT&T comment doesn’t help. AT&T doesn’t want to support these free sbcglobal.net accounts any more so they refuse to give you a one-time code to reset passwords. I figured this out after speaking to 10 reps over 5 days to no avail.

File a complaint with the FCC (google it) and miraculously AT&T corp office will call you suddenly apologetic and willing to help. They will send you code to unlock.  I HIGHLY recommend changing to a different e-mail provider because at some point we may not be able to get back in since they no longer support this.

Thank you Dland0723!

I believe that you are 100% correct. Why do I say that because 6-9mos ago AT&T had Chat ability to get to someone who could send a link that would reset the password and away you went. Now that option is no longer provided. Instead, I have been in PI (Edited per community guidelines) for 6 hours of my day trying to recover a password to an old sbcglobal account no one wants to unlock. Looks like I need to file a complaint. Appreciate it!

I just filed a complaint under the Internet type, I've included screenshots of all of our conversations. Hopefully they act on this
