POP3 server won't let me log in
I've been using Outlook to read my email for over 20 years and it mysteriously stopped working on August 4th, 2022. I've reset the Secure Mail Key several times, but simply cannot log in to the POP3 server. Webmail works fine. Everyone at AT&T wants to tell me how to set up Outlook or to simply keep trying to change the password until it magically works. What's the real answer?

No real message...it simply fails to log in to the POP server.

I've never seen Outlook error without an error message. You might have to click something to see the details but there's always an error message, usually accompanied by an error code.
Regardless, it's possible that this issue is totally unrelated to Yahoo/AT&T and that Outlook has just borked your mail profile. A good test would be to install Thunderbird, give it you email address and the SMK and let it configure things automatically. If it works then something is broken in Outlook, profile, PST, ??
