Pacbell.net email stopped sending & receiving emails with no error message

Pacbell.net email stopped working on 3 PCs and 2 Android devices running Outlook 365 and Android email respectively. This email account worked yesterday on all 5 devices and 2 program. Today it stopped working without giving me an error message on any if the 5 devices. Please advise a process to get my main Pacbell.net account that I have had for 30 years working again. Thank you.

If you're having problems with getting you back into your email, you may want to some troubleshooting steps to see if that fixes the issue. Here are a few things you can do:

  • If you're not already, try signing in using Currently directly instead of using an app. This will help determine whether the issue is with your account directly or not.
  • Clear Cache and Cookies - A very common fix.

  • Update Your Browser - many features are only compatible with the latest browser and we recommend updating it.

  • Test signing in to your webmail using another browser.

  • Disable browser tools or add-ons - varies by device and browser.

  • Use a private browser- varies by device and browser.

please follow these setup simple 

  • Click Settings.
  • Click More Settings.
  • Click Mailboxes.
  • Click the primary mailbox account.
  • Under Forwarding, locate the Forwarding Address and click Remove.
  • Click Save.

My issue was resolved.

It did take AT&T Digital Services going into the server and clearing all filters on my email account as a hacker took over my email because I clicked on an email that I thought was from AT&T.

It had the AT&T and Yahoo logo and the email was from AT&T Yahoo Ser. <[email scrubbed]> and read as follows:

Dear AT&T member,

Our records indicate that your account has not been updated, which may cause your mailbox to be closed.

If you do not update your account, you will not be able to send and receive emails again, and you will no longer have access to many of our latest features to improve conversations, contacts, and attachments.


Update your Mailbox account


Note: We'll immediately disable this restriction after confirming that the update is successful.
