Our AT&T email accounts have been hijacked and AT&T won't help!
We have had these email accounts over 24 years. Mine, my husband and our business account. They have been hijacked along with my AT&T account (cable & internet). I was on the phone with Att From 11am to 3:30pm two weeks ago. They helped me get into two email accounts and my TV/Internet account. They said I would have to wait 1 month then AT&T would send me a text with a link to get access to my husbands email.
We use our email accounts to connect with Doctors, Finances, Claims that have been filed, our trips and airlines. We don't have access to very important information. This is serious.
Today I tried to log on to two email accounts and my AT&T/Tv/Internet account and I am not able to. It says I have the wrong passwords again. I requested a link and the link came from [email scrubbed]. I checked online and found that this email address is spam and its not from AT&T.
I have been extra careful with passwords and authentication and protecting our info. Ever since I called AT&T support (over seas rep) about two years ago that same day I started to receive AT&T spam texts and emails and phone calls. It's almost every day.
AT&T said that my email accounts are free email accounts and that they never were attached to an AT&T Account. NOT TRUE! When we rebuilt our home AT&T assigned us a new AT&T Account and our three emails were linked to this account. Now AT&T said that we can only have one email linked to our AT&T Account but that the website says you can have more but it won't allow me to link them.
I believe the hackers work for AT&T.
How is it possible that AT&T can't do anything to help. Please, I need help.

Hello pcf1303, we'd be happy to see if we can help you reset your email and account passwords.
We'll be sending you a Direct Message to get started. Look for the chat icon next to the bell icon in the upper right corner of the page.
In the meantime, please try resetting the password for your TV and Internet account. We'll follow up with you in the DMs to see if it worked.
